Dr. Gopal Reddy has been practicing general anesthesiology for the past 20 years and specializes in pain management.

Originally from Hyderabad, India, Dr. Reddy is a graduate of Osmania University, India where he received his M.B.B.S. degree. After his internship at Gandhi Hospital, he served as Civil Assistant Surgeon for A.P. State Medical Services, India. While completing his residency training in the U.K., Dr. Reddy was resident in Accident and Emergency Department-General Infirmary, Pontefract, Yorks, U.K. in Orthopedics and Trauma at Royal United Hospital, Bath Som, U.K., in Surgery at the General Infirmary, Pontefract Yorks, U.K., in Surgery at Minehead and West Somerset Hospital, Minehead, Somerset, U.K., and in Anesthesiology and Obstetrics/Gynecology at Musgrovepart Hospital, Taunton, Som, U.K. Before coming to the United States, Dr. Reddy served as General Practitioner in Abertillery, U.K. and Southshields Co-Tynerwear, U.K. In 1978, Dr. Reddy completed his residency training at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York, New York. He has been a staff anesthesiologist at Southeast Alabama Medical Center since 1978.

Licensed by the State of Alabama, Dr. Reddy is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Alabama State Society of Anesthesiologists and the Houston County Medical Society.

Dr. Reddy and his wife, Prameela, have three sons and reside in Dothan, Alabama. His personal interests include jogging, gardening, tennis, and racquetball.
