Brit Lovvorn, M.D.
Anesthesiologist

Formerly of Woodland, Alabama, Dr. Lovvorn graduated from Samford University with honors in 1996 and received his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 2000. After completing his medical internship with Baptist Health Systems in Birmingham, he served as an Air Force Flight Surgeon in Warner Robins, Georgia. After serving four years in the Air Force, including deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Dr. Lovvorn completed his residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2008. He joined Anesthesia Consultants Medical Group, P.C. in July 2008.

Certified by the National board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Lovvorn is licensed by the State of Alabama. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Alabama State Society of Anesthesiologists and the Houston County Medical Society.

Dr. Lovvorn and his wife, Lorrie, reside in Dothan, Alabama with their daughter and two sons.
