Dr. Fillmore has been practicing general anesthesiology in Dothan for two decades. Respected as an outstanding anesthesiologist and a caring physician by his patients, Dr. Fillmore is board certified and fellowship trained.

Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dr. Fillmore received his undergraduate degree from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. After his internship and anesthesiology residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center, San Diego, California, Dr. Fillmore received his fellowship training in critical care at the University of California, San Francisco. He was also Director for Cardiovascular Anesthesia and Medical Officer in Charge of Recovery Room at the Naval Hospital San Diego during his service with the United States Navy. In 1990, after being in private practice for eleven years with Anesthesia Service Medical Group in San Diego, Dr. Fillmore founded and is CEO of Anesthesia Consultants Medical Group, P.C. in Dothan, Alabama.

Certified and re-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology , Dr. Fillmore is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists,Alabama State Society of Anesthesiologist, Medical Association of the State of Alabama and the Houston County Medical Society. His staff appointments include the Southeast Alabama Medical Center, Dothan Surgery Center, Surgery Center South and South Alabama Outpatient Services.

Dr. Fillmore and his wife, Lila reside in Dothan. Believing in community service, Dr. Fillmore is the immediate past chair of the Southeast Alabama Medical Center Foundation and participates in many other community causes and is an active member of his church.
